For a complete and properly functioning system, the PergoLino® hardware kits require compatible slats. We recommend using PergoLino® pine wood slats, specially designed with machined edges for a perfect, tight closure and smooth operation. These slats are not standard DIY products and can be purchased directly from us or produced locally according to the exact specifications provided in the product description.

🔷 Classic slats (overlapping / shingle-style closing)

For simpler projects or more budget-friendly solutions, you can use:

✔️ planed timber boards (max. 20 mm thickness, ideally 19 mm)
✔️ WPC profiles (max. 20 mm thickness)

👉 These offer:

✔️ good sun and wind protection
✔️ a natural look
✔️ lower cost

🔸 However, the closing will be overlapping, not perfectly flush. 

📐 Technical installation recommendations

For proper and durable performance, please follow these recommendations:

PergoLino is specially designed for horizontal slat installation.
For vertical applications, ask for the new PergoLino Vertical systems.

Wood:

– natural pine: max. 1.30 m
– thermally treated pine: max. 1.50 m

Metal slats, made from galvanized steel sheet with powder-coated finish, cold-formed, double-sided, with the same design on both the inside and outside:

– up to 2 m without an intermediate post
