If your terrace wall or opening is 2 meters wide, there are several practical solutions depending on the slat type and final design.
✅ Divide the space into compartments
Use support posts made from wood or metal, minimum 60 x 60 mm, to divide the opening into multiple sections that fit within the recommended maximum spans.
💡 Each PergoLino® system uses 4 cm total (both side rails together), so this should be included in your calculations.
Recommended clear opening per compartment:
✔️ up to 134 cm for natural pine slats
✔️ up to 154 cm for thermally treated pine slats
👉 A practical solution for larger terrace walls.
❓ FAQ – What if I need a taller installation?
If your required height is larger than one standard PergoLino® kit, you have several practical options.
✅ Option 1 – Combine kits in series (recommended)
The best solution is to stack compatible PergoLino® systems vertically.
Examples:
✔️ 90 cm + 90 cm = 180 cm
✔️ 108 cm + 108 cm = 216 cm
✔️ 126 cm + 126 cm = 252 cm
✔️ mixed combinations are also possible
✅ Option 2 – Use a smaller adjustable kit + fixed upper section
A very common and smart solution is:
✔️ adjustable PergoLino® kit in the lower usable area
✔️ fixed slats or decorative top section above
👉 Best for:
- lower cost
- easier daily access to controls
- elegant appearance
- useful when top area does not need adjustment
